Sabco false bottom

As anyone ever had an issue with a 15" false bottom that actually had the metal bend in between the hinges? It was a bit of a cluster on Saturday and I was disappointed to learn that my false bottom did not work as well as I had hopes for the money. I really only went with the sabco because it had legs that came with it, but I'm starting to have regrets.

I don't remember the size but I added a couple of Acorn nuts onto the legs. Then repeatedly put the screen in and out adjusting the nuts until I couldn't push the screen down. Thanks for the tip. I'll give that a try. I've managed to bend the screen back almost to flat-ish, but I still have a bit to go.
