Hi guys, this is my first attempt at a Rye Saison. Any and all critique welcome! You guys are the experts :) It's a 5 gal. extract recipe and crafted using BeerSmith. Tweaked from this https://byo.com/bock/item/2916-rye-saison

OG: 1.049 FG: 1.009
IBU: 26.5
ABV: 5.3%

Steep
1lb Maris Otter
0.5lb Rye Malt

4lbs Light DME
1.5lbs Wheat DME
0.5lbs Turbinado

0.25oz Centennial & 0.25oz Nugget @ 60
0.25oz Amarillo and 0.25oz Centennial @ 15
0.25oz Amarillo and 0.25oz Centennial @ 5

Belgian Saison Wyeast 3724 (1/3 of a yeast cake)

Thanks!!!

On first glance, I'd up the rye a bit to 1lb; I worry that a half pound of it will just vanish behind the extracts. That said, I like the taste of rye ;). I've brewed this rye saison recipe (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=238831) multiple times and have been very happy with the 25% ratio--of course, that one's all grain, so it's not exactly a 1:1 comparison.

I'll up it to 1lb. Thanks for the feedback! I'll report back on how it turns out. I think I'll do one gallon with a touch of spice (seeds of paradise etc) too...
