I'm looking at two reverse osmosis units for around $65. It would be filtering water that has already gone through a salt-based softener.
They are both four stages. The last stage can either be carbon or deionization. I'd use it mostly for brewing, but maybe also for drinking water. Seems like carbon is recomended for drinking water, and DI is recomended for aquarium water. Does it make a difference for brewing?
