I just received my rhizomes for this year in the post, they have a few green shoots already.
I cannot plant them in soil until the weekend.
Do I keep them in the fridge in the meantime or now that they have shoots, should I do something else?

Thanks

I don't think I can give you an exact answer but beware, I planted a rhizome this year with a bunch of green leafy shoots, buried the shoots and all, then one day the new shoot I had just died, after I dug it up I found that the shoots that I buried rotted and the rot spread to the rhizome and killed it.
So either plant it with the shoots sticking out of the dirt, or maybe cut the shoots off first.
