We visited Revolution a few weeks ago and tried their Cat Herder Replicale. This year's Replicales used 100% Czech Pils for the grain bill and Revolution had the good fortune of drawing Citra to round out their SMaSH brew. The beer turned out phenomenal.

I reached out to the brewmaster and got a prompt response. I inquired as to what else he could share about the brew. Here is what he advised:

We used the WLP001 CA. Ale Yeast. All 20 brewers used a single hop, and ours was Citra. All brewers were instructed to target 60 IBUs in the kettle and 16'P O.G. (both being in Am IPA range). we then had everyone dry-hop @1.25#/bbl. We mashed in low for our BH to get it to dry out a bit more... It turned out nice and clean- easy drinking for a 6.2% hoppy beer.

With this in mind, here is what I put together. I'm really looking for input on the hop additions, which I pretty much guessed at with the exception of the dry-hop. If you had this beer and can guide me in getting close to it, it would be much appreciated.

Special thanks to Will Turner over at Revolution, first for making this beer, and second for pointing me in the right direction.
