Reusing yeast in fermenters

Does anyone brew on the day that they keg or bottle and then rack the wort into the fermenters without cleaning them out?
 
I have one or twice, but typically I fill a couple of jars with yeast to reuse. I get more starters that way.
 
So I kegged last weekend and left the yeast in the fermenters all week.
I put the airlocks back on right after I kegged and they were at 38 deg all week.
is it to much of a chance of infection?
