Plastic threaded Kegland QDs have 3 gaskets: post, poppet, and what I'll call "chamber". I believe (untested) that the post and poppet seals are standard.

I just took a QD apart and the chamber gasket is broken. This is the gasket that seals the bottom plastic barb to the main body where the two thread together.

Anyone know where to get replacements, or what size they are?

@KegLand ?

(I have extras, and the gas QD probably doesn't even need a seal here, but I'd hate to toss the whole thing for one o-ring.)

edit: Huh. Just checked a newer one, and no gasket. I guess they rely on tapered threads, now?

The one with the broken gasket is actually from a fermzilla pressure kit, I think, but basically the same product.

I have new "carb caps" and they have that black stem without a gasket. The older ones have red/yellow stems and gaskets. The new one also may be better suited for connection to a PTC fitting (duotight).

Looks like an update on the construction.
The black spout has more thread turns compared to the original yellow one. That may make a more positive/straight connection and thus a better surface-to-surface seal with the body, rendering the o-ring obsolete.

I gather these are cutting edge products, so chances are they are being revised as prompted by results from field testing.

I'd keep an eye out on unexpected pressure drops to prove they are indeed gas tight. ;)

Well that seal wouldn't do anything on gas side, and dump headspace CO2 into the beverage stream on liquid side. So for gas, only matters if using a carb stone or something!
