Hey y'all, did a couple of searches but never found a thread with this particular information. So I'm planning on doing a sweet blueberry mead and my wyeast smack packs were on the mail so I want to do a starter for the obvious benefits and to make sure its alive! Now I was going to go by https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f39/how-make-starter-my-wyeast-smack-pack-194370/
but I was wondering if I could just replace with LME since my local brew shop only carries LME and if it would be the same quantities. Also if someone knows if there's a way to add honey instead of malt extract and how must yeast nutrient I would totally appreciate it :) Thanks alot in advance!

of course you can use LME instead of DME,( DME is Just easier to measure) and as you wrote you have to add a little more. I use programs to calculate how much extract I do need to reach a specific gravity of my starter ( usually 1.035). So It depends of how much starter you want to prepare

1lb DME = 1.25lb LME

honey should directly convert with LME
