I have been brewing and bottling my first 7 batches Cooper Pale Ale and all were quite nice to drink. I usually clean fermenter after bottling but just with water until I want to brew next batch. I always left lid open and never had any problems. Last time I closed the lid and had some water in it as well and when I opened fermenter yesterday (that's three weeks later) I find some kind of red mould (i suspect it's mould) on plastic fermenter walls. Tried to clean with brush and everything but no luck. smell is fine but stain still there. What should I do? Can I sanitise as usual and start brewing again???? Any help would be much appreciated!
