Wondering if anyone has any good lab mail-in analysis recommendations for testing my water.

I'm aware I can look at water reports, but I'd like to get the test done

The Brewers test has several items that are not very useful for brewing analysis. The W-4 Livestock Suitability test has everything you need and its $6 less.

Otoh, if one has no idea what the quality of their water is, iron is a common problem and imo is worth checking at least once...

Cheers!

Keep in mind that whatever your test results, the day you brew it will likely be different. Take a look at your municipal water report. They should be testing periodically and thus will publish a range.

Since testing on brew day isn’t practicable I just use the midpoint (mean would be better but my reports don’t list that). I find that works pretty well for my tastes.
