here's a glass i don't use much because it's like 44oz's, but it's definatly sturdy....think i got it from goodwill...

You can't go wrong with Dollar Tree pint glasses.

They sometimes even have 19oz Nonic glasses as well.

The Goodwill store is a great go-to for glasses of every description. Let's face it, everything is temporary especially stemware. There is a German saying that pertains to protecting those fine hefeweizen glasses: "Weissbier und frauen stossen weir von unten". Words to live by right there.

I have a couple of these that came with Paulaner's O-fest liter can of goodness. Room for more beer, what could be wrong with that?

I think the purpose of that thick mug is to cheat customers. I used to drink at a bar that used those, and I doubt they held over 8 ounces.
