I know this is anything but authentic, but I would like to buy a high AA bittering hop for my 60 minute additions for various styles including porters, pale ales, wheat beers, and more. I can't really afford to have many different varieties stored in the freezer for each beer style.

I'm not entering any competitions and I don't really mind if it doesn't taste 100% true-to-style. Obviously my late hop additions need to be the correct variety. Which hops would be best for 60 minute addition with the minimal flavour?

Nugget
Warrior
Magnum
Bravo
Galena

All rather cheap and clean for bittering additions.

I can't find any Magnum hops in NZ as they're all out of stock apparently until the next harvest :(

Bravo is also hard to source. I might try Warrior.

Bravo - works also well for whirlpool and dry hopping ( although not as intense as other varieties, but blends well )
Another vote here for Green Bullet as well.

Didn’t know you were in NZ. Just try Southern Cross or Green Bullet. Those have to be cheaper and easier to find than Warrior.
