Going to a big one, lightly worried about the hop schedule
But, I think it will work out, but looking for more feedback.
10 Lbs pale 2 row
7.5 lbs two Track Dakota M6 (like Munich)
1 lbs corn Sugar
OG should be around 1.106 Est FG 1.027 using Conan (mashing in at 148 infusion) for around 10.50%
hops weight time Notes:
apollo 1 oz FWH
Chinook 1 oz 20 min
Centennial 5ml 2 minutes hop oil extract
Pacifica 1 oz 0 min
Ella 1 oz 0 min
Vic Secret 1 oz WP @140 for 20 minutes
Citra 1 oz WP @140 for 20 minutes (Lupullin Powder)
Pacifica 1 oz 5 days
Ella 1 oz 5 days
Vic Secret 1 oz 5 days
Waimea 1 oz 5 days
citra 1 oz 5 days
I know it appears over the top, but I think they will help layer and not conflict. ... i think using the vic secret in a whirlpool and dry it'll pull out the orange and should work with all the citrus, while the earthy floral will help keep it grounded for a 10.5% beer.
thoughts? constructive criticism?
