Hey guys,

Just helping out a friend with a brew and he was looking at making this 5 gal PM recipe. Thinking something Abbot Ale'ish?:

3lbs MO
3lbs Light DME.
0.5 lb Amber Malt.
0.5 lb Crystal 60
EKG hops (not sure of quantities or schedule)
Safale S-04

Does anyone have any advice on an EKG hop schedule or adjustments on malts? Any advice is definitely appreciated. Thanks! :mug:

Do you know the alpha acid % for the EKGs?

I would think something like a bittering addition for an hour and another addition for the last 15 minutes would be good. I'd have to put it into a calculator to suggest appropriate amounts for the gravity of this recipe.

If you have the AA% for the EKGs, I'll throw it in BrewPal and give you more specifics on what I'd do for a hop schedule.
