Hi guys. On my second brew. have been brewing a Thomas coopers ipa with 1.5 kg liquid malt extract and a hop bag for 2 weeks now. Visible fermentation stopped about a week ago and temperatures were a little high in the first week at around 24. Second week has been cooler at around 20. Sg readings are consistent. Am I ready to bottle? Or am I being impatient?? Some say wait 3-4 weeks but others say otherwise.

As always your valued help appreciated.

If your gravity readings have remained consistent for 3 straight days, I would say you're ready.

Readings are consistent but are they in the target range for your FG. If so, you are ready to bottle without fear of bottle bombs.

Patience disclaimer: pretty much all beers get better the more conditioning time they get. So there is safe from bottle bomb ready and "I have to drink this beer NOW!" ready.
