I'm debating buying one of the 7 or 10 inch displays from Amazon that can hook to my RPi for displaying the RaspBerry Pints application, but I can't get a feel for if this would be large enough to read.

Anyone happen to have stuck a small display on their Pi and run raspberry pints willing to chime in? If it'd be large enough to read, I'll just build a deep enough picture frame style box for it and hang it above the keezer. (Or perhaps sticking the display under some plexi on the lid.... That could be a neat way yo have it too... Damn my indecisiveness.)

I run 6 faucets, can access my R'Pints tap list from anywhere with i'net connectivity, and have used Firefox, Chrome and even that pos Apple browser on any number of phones and tablets to display it - in most cases quite nicely.

I mention the number of faucets because it still allows me to use "landscape" mode at the host end (and whatever mode you want at the display end). If you were running more you'd likely have the host set up for portrait mode to fit them better.

Anyway, our 10" class tablets work really nicely, and I could easily see one perching a tablet above/behind a set of faucets, as long as it wasn't too far back from the user's eyes. It'd still be a 10" tablet, after all...

Cheers!
