Thinking about rejoining this year. Looking for a new trustee that can pick up my bottles. The past two years have been shipping bottles to LA and having them sent to Ohio.

My buddy I was splitting the 2017 membership with wants to take over the entire thing next year. It looks like I can change name, address, password, userid, and credit card on file which seems to be pretty much everything. Is there any downside to doing it this way to pass along the membership?

Has anyone done the same in a previous year?

Yes, I took over a TRB membership after my buddy and I split it for one year. He wasn't interested in continuing so he gave it to me. I changed everything because it was so damn easy compared to some other memberships.

Edit: This was roughly 2 years ago

I have done Solo, Solo, Split, Split and the person I split with is done with TRB. Not sure if I am interested in taking it on solo again... but I guess decision time is upon me.

thanks for the datapoint. Glad to know he can keep the 3 year old account then and reap the renewal gift :)

I really wish they would just offer the membership for $250 without the stupid credit. I have no desire for $50 in merchandise. I would consider renewing if that were the case.

I can't decide if I want to re-enroll. I have a closet full of this years sours I haven't drank yet.

Anyone know if they have any other bottle releases aside from BBA Home, Sour Home planned for the rest of the year? I assume there will be something.

Debating about enrolling in the membership program. I've read through the comments in this thread, but anything else I'm missing that I should know?

Would have to find a proxy (don't think that'd be too difficult) and whatnot but am a huge fan of what they're putting out. Also open to splitting if anyone else is on the fence with a full membership.

I just voiced my frustrations via email. They hyped this beer on facebook recently, but won't let members buy it online. Oh my jimmies!

Not even just that, they hyped it via a blog post email sent to members. That blog post actually got me pretty excited to get the beer. Now that excitement has been dashed. Needless to say I am extremely happy with my decision to drop them next year.

Official response from TRB when I asked them if members would be sold any

"We are unsure. We don't anticipate selling this one online at this time but will determine if that makes sense if inventory remains on Monday. "
