Yeah, I am going to have to pass on this.

The only excuse they gave last year for the $30 price tag was so they can help make the founders club seem worth it, not necessarily the cost of ingredients. Something about they are $30 because they are founders only beers or something. Going to be saving more money in beer again this month.

The price tag for this beer sets an expensive precedent. I was hoping club re-brews or re-blends could be re-priced. If there is a Rare Barrel lurker on here please tell those in charge to consider lowering the cost on future past club brews.

On the other side, someone would complain if they lowered the price. "I had to pay 30 after joining the club, now ANYONE can buy it for less."

Headed to SF from Austin this upcoming Thursday for a long weekend/short vacation with the Gf. Was planning on hitting RB on sat to grab some beers and pickup my Ambassadors allocations which have been living there this year. Was planning on bringing some jester king (repose, colour 5, etc) to open/share with the RB guys. Is that allowed? Also, how crazy should I expect it to be on account of the release? Thanks!

Releases are typically fairly crowded, but relatively tame. This weekend might be a bit crazier than the past few releases because it's Ensorcelled. Make sure you call/e-mail them ahead of time so they have your allocation ready.

Unfortunately TRB doesn't allow bottle shares, but I'm sure you can find a few locals who would be happy to drink some JK with you....

It's good. Haven't had the new one yet. Like most of their stuff, I like it, but it doesn't light my world on fire.

I was pleasantly surprised by b1 last year. Thought it was one of their better beers. That being said I once again am not sure if I'll buy more than one or two bottles.

Yeah, Forces is a public release. I don't know anything about the next Ambassadors allocation.
