Spent the day at the drag races north of Billings. A friend of ours races a Camaro in the Super Pro class (cars capable of <12 second ets). His car has a 540 cu. in. big block and is probably capable of running in the eights. The 9.04 on the windshield was his qualifying time.

My SIL is his crew chief.

The highlight of the day was one of the Top Gun drivers (cars faster than 8 second ets) cutting a zero reaction time. She launched at the instant the green light came on-0 second reaction time.

Veg garden this morning. Rhubarb in the foreground, then the garlic, which will be ready to harvest soon, and tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, etc waiting for the sun. Chicken pens beyond that.

No, this is far to the south, just south of the Loire River. The entire coast is dotted with these bunkers. Most are just ignored, but we saw one bunker complex that has become a hotel, another one that is a souvenir shop
