While I was brewing I heard a hawk calling and when I looked up I saw two hawks doing circles over the neighborhood before landing in the tree. Bad pic but they were not happy with me peeking on them while they were doing their thing. There are two red tail hawks in the pic, approximately half way down and right of middle. One closest to the middle to the pic is a bit blurry.

I thought was not the volts but the amps that get you with a car battery.
It's the current that hurts/kills you (10 - 60 mA), but human skin has a fairly high resistance. So, you need voltages significantly higher than 12V to get those kinds of current. A battery can deliver 100's of A into very low resistance loads, but that's immaterial.

Brew on :mug:

OK, @Pianoman , here's a crappy iphone set of pics of the 8x10s from 19<mumblemumblemumble>, when I was young, foolish, and spent way too much time with my camera, my telescope, and my darkroom. Before I discovered wine, women, song, computers, or hops.

All using a 6" newtonian, equatorial mount, no photo longer than 2 min, typically Tri-X400 film, some piggybacked, most eyepiece projection.

You're my hero. I'm all digital. Those are pics to be proud of. Only .000000001% of the population would even attempt the task. Hope mine are as worthy! Truly Halley's Comet??? Awesome!!
