When I was in my late teens, over winter break, a friend and I drove from NY to FL on a whim, just to get some warm weather. All the way down and all the way back we had just two cassette tapes to listen to, Leftoverture being one of them. God, to this day I can't stand that album.

At least you didn't say you were listening to 8-track tapes. :)

Be sure to keep enough homebrew on hand for your friends, too.

I tried to buy a Yugo. Dude who had it would not sell it. No way. No how. He was certain it would become a high dollar collectible.

I met a guy in Oklahoma once who collected Yugo's. He had about 20 of them! His dream was to weld 2 front halves together so you never had to drive in reverse....

He didn't think his cunning plan all the way through.

Once upon a time I had a job at a retail store and one of my duties was taking big stuff like that out to the customer's vehicle. You would not believe how many people think their hatchback can hold anything!

Deluded by Ikea flat packs.

In Europe that's called the Renault 5. I've had numerous french cars from all three big ones, they're really comfortable when they work, sadly that is such a rare occasion it's almost worth the mentioned champagne and a few crepes with whip cream.

Its a shame french cars are such rolling garbage now, particularly with the case of Citroen. They brought to market so many innovations, both practical and useful. Or Bugatti being a part of VAG, ugh.

Ive always wanted a DS

It's probably not worth going to work though after you pay the gunner on the roof. He's probably got a family...
I can car pool, and have one of my poolee's be the gunner. The other poolees can be ammo runners.

I'm really thinking of how this could drive over stopped traffic. LOL
