What is this wizardry?

I kind of died inside but if I saw a case I would buy it.

I would go for a single or half-case (is that an option there now?) I'm a fan of Anchor, but they have tried a lot of experimentalish stuff in the last few years such as the blood orange and mango beers and they've almost all been misses IMO. Can't say the new Blackberry Daze sounds enticing. They also have done some barrel aged beers that sound interesting, but they've been brewery only and quite pricey so I haven't had the inclination to seek them out.

San Franpsycho is a local clothing brand/store. This looks like the only gear they made for it:

I love the classic Anchor Beer lineup but any of that new stuff I've steered clear of it. I did have the Brewer's Pale Ale recently and it is very tasty. My problem with Anchor though is that unless it's a seasonal beer, and you're in that season, or a relatively new beer it's hard finding stuff that's fresh in my corner of the country.

That would be a great business model for these smaller places to understand too. Also why borrow money when you can pay for it with cash by waiting a couple extra years.

If you can sell beer now for more than what it costs to build plus interest then a brewery is losing money not taking the loan and building now.

Not really "losing" money, but leaving money on the table. The problem, of course, is that there's lag between "right now" and when new production can come online, and things can change. Plus it's always hard to tell exactly how much demand there really is.

I can't really fault Natalie and Vinnie for waiting so long to expand. Sure, it would've been nice to be able to buy Pliny at the corner bodega for the last 5 years, but it wasn't what they were comfortable with. In the end owners have to strike that balance. I also have a recollection of some specific instance that soured them on having too much debt, but I don't know the details.

Natalie mentioned on a Brewing Network podcast that they waited until they bought out all their original investors before moving forward with the new brewery. They mentioned wanting slow organic growth.

Yeah I've just always heard that there was something a bit more going on there than just that, like someone burned them somehow. It's always been vague so maybe it's ********.

It's quite possible they just didn't like having other people invested in the brewery and thus other people they vaguely had to listen to about things.

So what's the deal with Shelton fest?

The rumor I've heard is that they picked NOLA for October. And then had trouble locking down the actual venue they wanted.

Again, this is 100% a rumor I've heard. It might be COMPLETELY false. I have NO backing from anyone who is actually associated with Shelton. So honestly, you should assume it's false.

But it's what I've heard.

So I made a bot recently to automatically purchase a beer online using the name of the beer. It will refresh automatically until it sees the beer and will then buy however much I specify and adjust it appropriately according to limits. The beers seem to sell out faster with every release so I figured I'd try to get some advantage using my programming ability.

It was a lot of fun and ive gotten the time from detection to purchase down to about 2.4 seconds. This is considerably faster than my first version which was a more accurate emulation but had a lot of unnecessary resource loading.

Now that it's actually working...well... have I become a shitlord?
