Yeah, it's a weird Turkish version with garlic and mint leaves. I prefer the simple version with just yogurt, water, and salt.
I live in what's pretty much considered Little Istanbul around here, and I've never seen Ayran like that. I do enjoy the normal kind in summer though.

I saw it a couple of times in southeastern Bulgaria (near the Turkish border) but it's definitely not a common variant. I don't know about using it for a hangover like the Bulgarians do but I enjoyed it as a summer afternoon refreshment.

I've had lambic blended with buttermilk before, but never with ayran. That should be a thing

Anyone know how much schramms 750 of statement costs? I found a place online that ships them but it's like 90 bucks.

Generally $40-45 on the shelves of Grand Rapids, maybe a bit less over in Detroit. If you need some I'm sure I can help you out.

EDIT: Seems I was beaten to the punch. Anyway offer stands if you need it. Not sure if I'd find 750s vs 375s, as stores rarely have both, but I'm sure there's some hanging around here.

Was looking for a picture today and found this post; this **** happened like three and a half years ago in the middle of Gang Bang Round 5 and I still have a massive scar on my leg from falling off a rock.

Back when beer was fun!

That second picture...what is that some D-Day lookin ****.

There's no "bad" advertising. If it's great, you'll hear about it. If it's awful, you'll hear about it. There is mediocre, however.

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., one of the nation's largest craft brewers, announced a recall for certain 12-ounce bottles of its pale ales, IPA's and other beers after the discovery of a packaging flaw that could cause glass to chip and fall back into the bottle.

So is that "bad" or "awful"?

Saw some guy look over a sixer of Voodoo Ranger, think about for a moment and finally sheepishly bring it over to the counter today as I was buying anti-hero cans.

So obviously this ad campaign is working
I've passed over many offerings in favor of a twelver of ranger. I've also passed over all "craft" offerings in favor of Coors Light.

Sometimes you purchase what you are in the mood to purchase. It has nothing to do with marketing.

I only purchase coors light do to marketing, even though it has a great taste and is less filling

I also saw today that they brewed a hazy ipa. I don’t know which is more disconcerting.

Founders following up Mosaic Promise with that Azacca beer is the equivalent of watching Jack White shred for an hour and a half with an encore, then having to watch Billy Joel come out after him.

******* disappointing.
