Should I drink this yet? This was the infected batch that was recalled for those curious.

Sounds like the pack was released three months after bottling so it would make sense for it to be filtered. Laughing at everyone on Untappd being pissed cause it's not hazy.

Apparently they ran it through some massive centrifuge they have at Fuller’s. Probably when the Cloudwater guys weren’t looking.

They had a midnight keg tapping here in Australia! I didn't go but like, it happened. People seem excited I guess?

I'm so glad things are real low key here. Maybe we don't have the variety yet but everything is on the shelf always.

depends... do you like to be on beer?
Nahh...or, uhh, yeah!
It's pretty good. If you've never had it get a bottle or two if possible.
I'm getting some for sure! Never had it before and typically try all Founders stuff turding up here in Sweden.
Not at all. Better off just leaving it on the shelf.

Looked over at Ratebeer and saw zero ratings of the 2017 release. Kinda expecting people to be underwhelmed by it because of the 'whale' status and all...but I don't know, hence me wondering. Pleased that it will show up here so I get to try it anyway!

I thought the 2011 bottles and the draft release were both great but way better stouts have come out since then IMO. Just don't go in expecting it to be maple forward like Morning Delight or Good Morning. Still worth grabbing assuming it's not a crazy release.

How many bottles of BCBS are released every year? I mean, it's a shitload right?

Enough that even a local grocery store in a town with ****** distribution should get cases. One shitlord will buy it all if there are no limits, and InBev will laugh as they count the money. It may or may not be infected. Rinse and repeat next year.

Did tents suddenly become a thing at releases? Seems like they are everywhere today, both at BCBS and otherwise (specifically The Veil's shitshow). I don't remember seeing nearly as many total as I've seen in the past 24 hours.

Eventually beer lines will just become one permananent large, connecting shanty town, across your great land.

Travellers will wander, trading beer and merch for lodgings and other beer and merch.

Suddenly?

We took a tent when we overnighted at the doomed final KBS Day in 2012. But we knew it was going to be an overnight in 32 degrees. I assume people have been taking tents to Darkenss Day for at least that long.

It's only limited by the amount of barrels they get, their brewing process is insanely efficient. I think the ballpark was like 20k bottles last year unless I'm misremembering.

Its a shitload more than that by a scale of measurement.

Think closer to 1M bottles going out. They have warehouses full of nothing but Bourbon County and they are turning 90%+ of those warehouses during the year.
