I can't wait until all these ****** who overbought all these Rare whatthefuckever it is get boned sitting on them. Everyone fancies themselves a beer reseller.

"Bruh, I am gunna get so rich, Im gunna go buy me a dope ass Goozy from MBC then flip it for 2 MBP. Aight fam"

Saw on the other channel that a guy in line was pissed at the high limit because he had brought his wife as a mule, and both he and her were annoyed that it wasn't necessary.

You have to be a true shitlord to complain that the limit at a beer release where no one is getting shut out is too high.

Seems like we might finally be heating an equilibrium point with these kinds of releases though, apparently almost no one there was buying the limit (10 bottles at $25 per).

I mean, there's a florida group called "the wolves of whalestreet"... We're beyond true shitlords at this point.

It's interesting the fact that the Cantillon Iris glass reprints are now bonafide shelf turds and there was a bit of a clamor over them a few years ago when they came out.

Lauren Salazar & Brandon Jones from the Embrace the Funk - Funk Festival this past weekend.

Also pouring beer for folks in Nashville is so much more enjoyable than pouring beer for folks in Chicagoland.

I bought 4 and it's still probably too much. I wasn't about to spend $250 on beer.

Drinking one now and it's pretty good though.

Why wouldn't they just make a list of the 100 breweries involved? You have to click on their dumb map and search for them by trial-and-error.
Precisely. If you're going to highlight the efforts of craft breweries all across America, wouldn't it make more sense to, y'know, list them all for that recognition?

Gonna laugh so hard when these Private Equity firms finish pumping money into their breweries, bundle them all together, and sell them to InBev.

Gonna need popcorn for days for all the luls, salted with neckbeard tears paired with a Dale's Pale Ale.

Lots of controversy in ATX about Oskar Blues immenent opening of their new brewery (big enough to brew all the rest of the beer made in Austin). They're refusing to join the Texas Craft Brewers Guild and have spoken against helping with beer law reform in the state. Meanwhile the new beer laws passed in 2013 with the help of TCBG are the only reason they can even have a taproom here...

Draaama.

Lutter I think OB did join the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, and I think they decided to stay out of the crowler fight that is going on here, but otherwise haven't said anything about changing the laws here.

I am a tad worried that they will try to bully some of the smaller breweries here, but I think them being here will be a net positive.

Pretty interesting (longform) article on the subject...

Some interesting anonymous and cited local opinions.

The article mentions they've "met to have beer" with TCBG, but I didn't take that to they'd actually joined.

Meh, I'll stick with ABW down the road.

And I agree, give me ABW (or Hops and Grain, or Zilker, or Last Stand) over Oskar Blues any day.

Wow this kind of sucks.

I happened to drive far enough from the brewery to actually grab a 6 pack. ***** is *****.

Anyone want 5 bottles of this crap?
If "mediocre AWA" had an entry in the dictionary, it would probably have a picture of Lagunitas Aunt Sally next to it.

B for effort D for execution. Glad I only got a 2 ounce pour of it, it's about all I could stomach.
