Yep! Haven't made a beer I didn't think was at least very good, and many of my favorite shelf beers on the planet. Would drink Apex Predator errday.

Yes. Grisette hasn't existed for more than half a century. It's a completely meaningless term now.

Why bother? If it's a 4% saison, call it a saison. Grisette is just pretentious one-upmanship.

If my recent reading (and memory) are correct, saisons for the most part were originally 4% or less ABV to begin with.

I always thought wheat, a bit more hop character, clean (as in not aged and potentially funky), and sub 5.

Lagunitas Waldo's ale might be the tastiest, cheapest way to get drunk fast that I've had in a while. Less than $2 per bottle for 11.5% of dank, boozy, piney, bitter goodness. I'm on my second pint at the bar and might have to be driven home if I go for a third.
