Has Yuengling IPL been around for a while or is it a new thing? First I've seen or heard of it that I can recall is for a store nearby selling 1/4bbl kegs for $30.

My brother and I got a case for our parents' house during the Thanksgiving holiday. It's really pretty good. Definitely better than most everything at its price point.

Came out like a half year ago and if I remember right Dick Yeunlging begrudgingly agreed to it
 
Someone school me on Trinity. I have a friend who insists they are great and I got a pour of 7 Day Sour at a tasting once so that was enough for me to set up a trade for a few bottles. I literally said just throw a few bottles in the box, I trust you. I just opened and struggled through a bottle of 365 Day Sour and I'm wondering what's the deal. There was nothing going on it was just sour and had a bit of bubble gum. Is this a bad bottle, a bad example of their sours, or do they just suck?

Kettle Souring is exactly what I was thinking with the 365 Day Sour I had. It just didn't make sense that it wasn't sour.

Comment was mainly aimed at everything said in that comment was over my head as far as brewery speak goes.
I understand it and he's totally full of ****. It's not possible to drop wort pH to 4.0 via acidulated malt and all of the research on lambic fermentation has shown the initially dominant organisms are enteric bacteria.
 
I did my best in that thread. Only so much you can say to the biggest dipshits in beer/on earth.

I refuse to post in most of those groups.The sheer stupidity is breathtaking,

Yes. Yes it does. That is exactly what that means. The fact that you can't realize that and continue to argue the contrary is amazing. On semi public forums nonetheless.
