Someone found this picture on twitter. I'm clearing out my fridge to prepare.

I'm glad they are packaging this, but I am skeptical of any Hefe in cans. The canned examples I've had tend to be lacking in the defining characteristic of the style, the yeast sediment. They tend to completely lack haze and are more akin to Kristalweizen. And it hasn't been the beers themselves, as the same beers on draft have been beautifully hazy. I've never had an issue with bottled Hefes.

While anything could be possible, I have complete faith in Live Oak. They tend to do things right I honestly couldn't see them releasing a bad example of their product.

Sounds good to me. I'll send you some when cans are released.

I never thought I'd see those words together.

You know, if you say just that phrase a few times, it starts to sound kind of weird.

When is the new LO brewery opening anyways?

I hear you can kayak up to the brewery, lol.

Ok guys this is our chance, lets not screw it up.

This is going to be a super limited release. I heard they are filling cans by hand and only going to be 372 cans available for the first run. I also heard this is even better in cans than on draft. Some are saying it is the best Hehe ever brewed!!! I am going to have to drive 6 hours round trip just to get these. I wouldn't be surprised if it is 1 can/person. Heard some guy is already lining up his professional mules just to get a six pack.

Thats nothing; I hear in a couple weeks they're coming out with a vanilla variant

Beer guy told me Northern Cal got 40 cases of FW Agrestic.

When i saw it on the shelf 2 weeks ago I reckon it was most unexpected beer I have seen in a while, I was...excited, not expecting to see Agrestic up here, ever. I figured it would disapear quickly.

So 40 cases...I have bought a case...it is sitting on shelves.

I am very confused. Why is this beer sitting around? What did i miss?

No one gives a **** about AWAs anymore. It's all about those barrel-aged adjunct stouts (vanilla/maple/coconut preferred) and lambics (but only Cantillon or maybe 3F), brah!

No one gets excited about Flanders Reds that cost twice as much as Rodenbach Grand Cru?

If this had been SLOambic, people would be stabbing each other for it.

What's funny is that (in my worthless opinion at least) Agrestic is one of the best AWAs that Firestone Walker has done. But no fruit, no care is the #newmoney motto when it comes to such things, unless it's Beatification or whatever.

I kind of wish it was this, but it isn't.
So much good beer sits way longer than it should. I love picking up awesome eer week in week out without panicking about the latest must have.

I am good with buying bottles of Agrestic for the next few weeks.

Unkempt obese man with the sticky hands of a preschooler only likes beer with fruit.

Last time I was at HF I only got half a case each of Clara and Table Dorothy anticipating that I'd maybe try one of each but not want any more of them. You can probably see where this is going.

I finally tried them after giving away the rest and was down to my last one of each. And ********* they were so good. Sue and E. weren't that good so I didn't know what to expect from Table Dorothy; I'm not tehzachatak so I have no idea what a grisette would be like.

What a sad story.

Really big fan of Feral One.
