I have also developed what might be an allergy to lambic. I am allergic to all sorts of things according to the allergy tests (molds being one of them). So, I wonder if something in mixed fermentation sour beers now screws up my stomach. Its weird because there is a clear hierarchy to what does it, and it is strictly sour beers. Tilquin is by far the worst and Boon is the easiest on my stomach. Also, certain sours don't seem to cause any problems.

Really weird, especially since I was into this hobby for over 2 years until it started.
cloudy lambic is a trigger for me, maybe try the antigueuze up in the neck and see if that is different than chunky pours at the bottom and/or decant.

Yup about a year ago I started sneezing after having more than a pint of IPA a night. Not surprised though since my immune system is all sorts of ****** up. Makes for some serious sneeze sessions at Societe though.

this is me... I think it's particular hops though... maybe not... but too many hops give me sneeze sessions too... nothing crazy though. Fine the next day

Since BA started, we've permabanned less accounts than we welcome new ones in a week.

Anyone had Schell's Cypress Blanc berliner? Looks interesting, but c&c 750ml bottles are usually expensive, and I don't like expensive berliners (says the guy who bought 6 Hottenroth w/ Peaches at like $12 a pop, doh)

Yes it is weird as ****, in a good way. Read the description, it is mind boggling to me that it is a berliner. But I would seek out a bottle at least once to try.

I don't know how much it costs per bottle, received it in a BIF, but I thought it was ******* awesome... as did the other 2 guys I split it with. Assuming the price isn't too crazy I'd love to buy more bottles at least every now and then to enjoy.

Have you had the Starkeller Peach?

That one is the best of the bunch, IMHO.

It's really good, no homer. More of a hoppy wild ale (lager) than a real Berliner.

Bretta Rose is a damn fine beverage, I had it alongside a few different sours I like quite a bit last night and it definitely stood out. I hate to say it but Comrade Superpower > NvU, had my first pint of PW last night at Falling Rock and it didn't get my balls sweaty like it used to.

If the last time you had it was last year, then it's because it's a slightly different beer now that they can it. They dropped the ABV, but not sure what else is specifically different.
CansIn2022 any details on what was changed for the current NvU?

Can we please stop posting **** about BA? We get it, that place sucks and the people there suck. All we're doing is making the gargoyle family's dicks hard by giving them the pleasure of finding people on here and banning them there.
But....but.....but.....bitching about BA is the TB version of, "Would you rather have Heedy or Pliney if you were in hand to hand combat with a kangroo?"

For the record, I would got with Heady. Mostly, because I respect beer and comic sans isn't a respectable font.

Yeah, it's usually around 15 bucks. It's worth noting that it's over 7% and wood-aged though. Makes the price a bit easier to swallow.

Also, those beers are tasty as ****.

I've never purchased beer online before, but I finally pulled the trigger when I saw sahalie for sale today. **** it, shipping wasn't bad and it's my birthday next month. Happy ******* birthday to me lol.

I'm just waiting for the day i spontaneously order multiple cases of 3F gueuze online. Any day now.......
