OP doesn’t need to be offended for what you said to be ****** and offensive. If I throw out some racist ass screed we don’t need to wait for a black person to tell me I’m offensive before being correctly put in my place. God this type of reaction is stupid. Calling your post crass and obnoxious (which it was) is not the same as getting offended, and you getting huffy about being called out is absurd. If you don't get why what you said is problematic then I don't know what to tell you, but I can tell you for a fact that behavior like that has driven women away from this forum, and given the fact that it seems to be on life support as it is regular users might have some modicum of interest in not driving people away for no damn reason.

You can make fun of someone for being stupid without being a pig about it.

So I actually chose to take a non-snarky look at this just because I was bored and somewhat curious what sort of content actually goes into these surveys. My question is this: why did you choose Calsberg as a particular example/case study? If the answer is because they are providing any source of funding, then this information should be disclosed to the participants.

If this person is a student, then they are definitely an intern for the importer. It was a pretty obvious marleting survey for Carlsberg. I took the survey because I, too, was a struggling business student not that long ago. No one puts that kind of language and effort into a survey unless it is corportate and they are trying to hide something.

I took the survey for similar reasons and felt the same way about the last couple questions focused on Carlsberg. It came off as very much a student survey then you get to these last couple of questions and it's like "whoa, this is bit a more polished with loads of PR speak."

I'm sure my responses aren't helpful since I don't live in the UK and I don't have any interest in buying Carlsberg regardless of them trying to be environment friendly.

Not to say that the environment isn't important, but brewing is an industry that uses a LOT of water. Some fancy packaging is hardly a drop in the bucket so let's look at some other facets to cover: Try not to be racist and sexist *****. Don't treat your employees like garbage. Don't treat your customers like morons (let's cross Carlsberg off that list).

Love how in one page we’re fine condemning a racist post from a brewery but also okay with posts asking a female to “show us her ****s” or filling in her survey responses with “****ies”? Yeah.

I get it’s not part of this forum’s culture to be open to these kinds of posts about people taking surveys or doing market research and that’s fine, but when your base reaction is to move straight to a conversation because of her gender... do better.

Yeah, I agree. What I've tried so far is good, but it's not "call a liquor store to make sure they're stocking it so I can buy a mixed 6 pack of singles of it" good.
