Just when I think that my ******** life is unique and above average, I meet a 43 year old man who:

a. got banned from an online beer website.
b. creates a new account to come back.
c. gets found out because he makes zero effort to conceal his identity.

I am renewed.
We call it a sausagebrewer round these parts.

Just curious, but why would I? The IP address was the issue, not everything else.

Damn just let lutter have this one Michael.
Sighhhhhhhhh.

Also if I were tosh I wouldn’t want to come back. Guy was unfairly treated... especially if this guy is allowed back (no offense hornydevil... I got no problem with you).

And this is coming from the guy that wished his death in graphic detail on several occasions. ****.

Ball busting the site is something a lot of people ended up moving from BA because of management not tolerating it...

But I digress. I’m just Lutter. Member 1344.

Because I'd imagine for many people (myself included) the appearance of caring so much about trolling something on the internet would be an embarrassment.

Ehh . . . it takes more than that to embarrass me.

Would they have even looked at the IP address if everyone wasn't throwing out the accusations that you were hornydevil?

It would have probably taken longer, but if given enough time the same conclusion would have been reached.

Coulda fooled me. ;)

******' A right it does.

I think we make him and shuggy battle it out for the one and only community ****. Only room for one of them for entertainment purposes.

Ho, ho, I'm no ****. I'm a c-word. BIG difference.

Ironically they both have Jesus and beers in their undername or avatars. How fitting!

I find that entertaining, as well.

You making snacks for the festivities? I'll be over in a few

Last time shuggy and I had a little tiff (on BA), he chose to PM me, give me his address, and tell me to come on over. It was hilarious. I, actually, still laugh about it from time to time.

You left out the part where you were flexing your internet muscles, chief. All I did was call you on your ********.

Your verbiage, vernacular, sentence structure and areas of the board you chose to post in aligned with what your old user name did. I have been doing some reading the last couple days. The brewing thread, for example, was a dead giveaway.

We look at the IP address of every new user and have back end software to identify matches from other user names.

We meet in the Treehouse parking lot 'round these parts.

Nothing of the sort occurred. I said lactose is not discernible from any other unfermentable sugars, like maltodextrin, added to beer. You seemed to think that you could taste the difference. The only ******** in that exchange was from you, hard guy.

Interesting, I figured it did something like this. I'm also going to assume it can have more than 1 IP per username.

Does it also monitor traffics spikes from a single IP?
Asking for a friend.

City bans IPAs to address racial displacement issue
Published on January 24, 2019January 24, 2019 in Food/Drink/Politics

After Chattanooga Organized for Action (COA) released a report about racial displacement in and around the downtown area, the city passed an ordinance to temporarily ban craft beers of the India Pale Ale (IPA) variety.

In the last year alone, local craft breweries introduced over 300 new IPA varieties, and social scientists commonly use the number of local IPAs as a metric when determining the level of gentrification that has occurred in a specific area.

“It’s a complicated issue, but you can’t argue with statistics,” said local sociologist Cris Tutweill. “Affluent, educated people can’t get enough of those hoppy Pine-Sol bong-water brews.”

COA’s report pointed out that one of the largest declines in African-American homeownership in the country happened in Chattanooga between 2005 and 2015, and neighborhoods that saw an influx of over 5,000 white residents simultaneously lost over 2,500 African-Americans.

“This seems like a drastic measure, but surveys have shown that 85% of craft beer drinkers are white, and by golly, we’ve got to try something,” said Tutweill. “If this doesn’t work, maybe we can ban saisons.”
