I strolled in casually 15 minutes after it started with no line. One of my friends sent me a picture of that corral while I was eating breakfast and I wanted absolutely no part of it.

Entrance silliness aside, Huna Day was a pretty chill festival with little to complain about other than how gross the port-a-potties got. Why is it so ******* hard for people to not use them like animals? And to not throw their water bottles and food containers in...

Reading through this, Jesus Christ am I glad I have disposable income after the initial craft beer boom

I have drank stuff that 10 years ago That would have taken hours of waiting to get. And I am I glad I never waited. It's beer. ****.

And I am on it

I agree with this statement. You can't be at every event, everywhere, everyday, so you should enjoy what you do get to experience.

Not only that, but you can also experience them in entirely different (specifically, more relaxed and less stressful) ways than other people. I waited in one real line all weekend, which was Cycle BA Day and that was because a few people in our group had VIP tickets while a few of us were GA, so we got there at the same time and had to wait another hour. Otherwise I said **** it to all that, skipped all the bottle releases and line-up events, and had a good time drinking.

Sorry for not using DDB’s wit and lexicon while shitting on this. When I said this has been done before, I thought I didn’t need to add thaf it did not go well for the perpetrators of said ******* stunt. The brewer wanted to know who was ******* with their reputation by putting a fake bottle out there, even if it was disclosed to the victims right away.

This is not funny. There is a reason no one trusts BA, RB, Untappd, Yelp, Facebook, etc. reviews anymore.

I mean, is it a clever troll? As trickytunadicky mentioned it been done.... but some old jokes still have legs?
I think if a decent non-ba stout was put in there rather than infected stuff it would be far more cruel as folks would just think it lacks barrel and not be wowwed, comeaway disappointed thinking they really had it, and thereby a better joke.

To be fair, the stunt is very sad. Like: I feel way better about myself, what I care about, and what I put my time into (including here on a beer forum) level SAD.

On top of that, he spent time Untappd-friending those that took the bait to make fun of THEM?!
