is VA the battleground for 'how many times can we dry-hop a QIPA'? An at Mekong/Answer has consistently said over the past couple years that he wants "triple dry hopped" to be known as a Answer thing. Veil and now Aslin are doing "quintuple dry hop", etc...
when will the hop wars end? straight hop juice with a dash of water?
Topical: Post from earlier this month.
You got QIPA right in there, you got "quintuple dry hop", you got

That’s because you play it by @abawol01’s incorrect rules.

Oh snap!

And to think, we all trusted him to be in charge of running a game BIF.

First of all, Jay, you aren't the boss of me and I will continue to explain the real rules to anyone that asks. The real rules are the hardest rules. You know, the ones I play by. Also, shut up.

As for you Denise, don't let that awful, awful man try and tell you there are other rules that the correct ones. You're just still upset we didn't ship to you in that BIF.

The inability of people to read and think a little bit before blowing hundreds of dollars on bottles of beer and event tickets is just mind-boggling.

Wakefield (I know, I know, but he's not at all in this wrong this time) made it completely and utterly clear that the bottles pre-sold with Wakefest tickets were going to have a pickup window consisting of the week before the fest (so bottle pickups Monday-Friday, festival Saturday). Again, this was clearly explained on all the materials published online leading up to the ticket sales. Today they posted an update with clarifications on things like when during each day bottle pickups would happen, location, what info any proxies (which they allowed) would need to bring like a copy of the ticket holder's drivers license, standard stuff for these kinds of things and nothing changed from what they'd originally posted.

Yeah, for anyone other brewery sticking to what you originally said wouldn't be worthy of a pat on the back, but it is Wakefield we're talking about here. And of course, the howls of outrage start from people who bought tickets and are flying in Saturday morning. My favorite one was something like "yeah I read the FAQ but I've been to so many festivals where they did bottle sales or pickups the same day as the fest that I never assumed it would be like this".

You say this like you are surprised.
