I like apricot beers far more than peach beers, but that's likely probably because I've never really had a truly great peach. Even the ones I've had at farmer's markets or whatever have never been spectacular.

This saddens me. While I wouldn't go as far to say the best peaches I've ever had were from the Peach State.... when in season there are some pretty damn good peaches here.

Will be sending you some peaches when I feel they're at their peak, IMO. Totally srs. Will toss some WB Gose in there for you as well so at least it's not one grown man mailing another grown man fruit.

I'll be curious to see how that turns out. My guess is that the peaches will ripen quickly in the box.

this is my favorite song from "Eat a Peach",

but here's my random beer thought,

beers like Schaefer have their moments...

Gonna send you a preemptive **** you box because you deserve a good *******.

We had a blind peach beer tasting today.

tl;dr Veritas peach beers are holding up incredibly well, while Side Project fruited beers seem shallow and one-note.

Also, Fantasia is still one of the best beers in the world.
Was this the tasting with Yellow Bus? Did it have any fruit left? Was it real Yellow Bus or fake Yellow Bus?

I will eventually remember that I've told you I'll send you local avocados. Wonder if I can get the boy up and on the road in time to hit the SB Farmer's Market before our Barrelworks pick up. Local avocados AND local pistachios. Neeeed. Hmmmm....

And I just realized this isn't the fruit thread or food thread.
So, uh, [generic random beer comment]. Oh, here we go: HotD Putin ain't worth $26/bottle. ****'s cray.

It isn't worth the $12 I paid for it either.
Happy to report that I was not the idiot who paid that much for a bottle.

We opened a lot of expensive, disgusting beers last night because someone's pants get tight when bottles reach a certain price point, without considering if the beer might actually be any good. (Seriously, Grimm's Super Spruce was like chewing on one of those pine trees you hang from your rearview mirror.)
Weird thing is that he usually has good taste in beer, but gets all excited about $30 bottles, none of which I can recall having ever been worth the price. But then he thinks it's strange I'll plunk down $15 each for sour, fruity, 375mL bottles from Barrelworks, who have only made one beer I can recall not caring for. Yep, I'm the weird one here...

Here is a little project I have been working on with a friend. Check it out kind of a fun thing we do for the community, all proceeds benefits local charities. Listen to the music check out the art... I do a lot of the brainstorming and pretty much take care of all the beer aspects.

Whoa, wait... where the hell have a I been.. there's a brandy barrel Framinghammer now? Is this new or have they done this regularly? I really need to get a bottle of that.
New this year. They have a double barrel (bourbon and brandy) that is D.O.N.G this year as well.

Had it on tap the other day before I bought some bottles, really good. The double barrel will be on the draft at the brewery only so you'll just have to blend that one yourself if you want to try it. I'm going to hip you to this now, what you really want is the Mole BA Framinghammer that comes out at the end of the month.
