I was thinking more along the lines of the "Parabola costs $24. Is it worth it?" line of questions.

I usually tell people they are paying to satisfy their curiosity rather than the beer.

Like, $40 for a westy is probably worth it if you want to get that early-career tick. It's never worth that again though.

I've paid $50 for an aussie big brand lager's barrel aged 12% thingo. It was never worth the original $100 to me to find out, but half price was definitely worth it.

Now I know I'd pay $30 for it quite happily. It was really damn good.

I know. They aren't asking 9 times out of 10 to see if a store is priced high. Particularly if they don't say where they are. They are asking if the beer is good enough for their $24. Look up some ******* reviews.

The beer review section on TalkBeer.com... oh, wait. :(

The Quark, a saison dry hopped with Cascade, Citra, and Hallertau Blanc went on yesterday. Notes of papaya, mango and marijuana. Get down with it.

Indica / Sativa? What strains does it bear a resemblance to?

I hope they meant the physics term and not the German cheese. I am grossed out by cheese beer.

Relative to many other pro athletes, he seems like a super nice, down-to-earth dude that I'd want to hang with. Not that that article was particularly good or anything groundbreaking, but you can tell he's genuinely interested in beer and in learning more about it. Probably not a ton of other NBA guys drinking porters and IPAs regularly.

Someone get Bosh on here.
