Two-Hearted. Blind Pig. Pliny the Elder. Racer 5. Hop Rod Rye.

Torpedo came out in 2006, and I had all of the above early 2005 and earlier. I could go on.
No one but a dumb ******* ******* would argue Torpedo is better than Two Hearted. But Two Hearted's brilliance does not mean Torpedo isn't also a delicious beer.

/Too lazy to insert that "WHY NOT BOTH" GIF

I took this photo to post in the lambic thread as a sweet gag, but the beer was so offensively bad that I couldn't even do that. Smelt like wet dog and grease fat. Tasted worse. My gf and I took two or three sips each and drainpoured.

******* brutal.

These both sound really interesting, especially as I can't think of any Tripel I've had aged in either brandy or cognac barrels. Never heard of either so thanks for the info! Now ISO etc

jupiter6xx I understand that a new batch of Voodoo Apply Brandy Gran Met (aged 33 months) will be coming out shortly.

33 months is way older than my daughter who can walk and communicate, though it's mostly gibberish and hand gestures.

I'll let all the new money have that, while I sip my cans of Live Oak Hefeweizen and Blood Orange Gose.

I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with this rant but I am drinking Live Oak Hefeweizen from a can I'm super excited about that. So suck it new money.

This just made me realize these were filled around the time my daughter was born. Ugh, like I needed another reason to convince myself to chase this. Goddamnit.

God, I wish live oak was in cans in Dallas right now.
