We call ours "the ******** glass."

Can't wait for their take on the best possible glassware for barrel aged sour red IPAs.
It's just a teku that automatically takes a selfie when you fill it and posts it on Instagram with the hashtags #blessed #whalez #barrellife

Please post & tag me in the Introduce Yourself forum. Color me intrigued.

I tried reading beer.pe.huh but I couldn't. Just couldn't do it. It felt like I was reading a page hosted on geocities circa 2000.

Atrocious.

Seriously ISO some of your candles. Very srs.
Thanks, I am still figuring it all out... only made 2 so far. Bottle cutting is tuff to get a perfect cut. And appaently there are like 50 different wicks that all affect how the candle burns. So I am still playing around. But maybe they will make a nice little extra in future trades ;)

I just made this, brownie scented. Smells awesome.

Which bottle cutter did you use? The edge looks great.

So I've got a box coming Monday that I thought would get here by Saturday. Lo and behold, the temperature is supposed to drop on Saturday and stay low for a week or so and I'm worried that the box could freeze over the weekend. Should I have the box held at a Fedex location? Not sure if that would help or not. If I requested the hold, would the box sit on a truck all weekend, then get delivered to the Fedex location on Monday, or would it sit inside over the weekend...or what?

I would say it is sitting on the truck regardless of what you do.

I genuinely love the Speigelau stemmed pils/tulip glasses and think they are the best... but now they are just ripping people off with their half baked glasses that beer geeks will gobble up so they can instagram them.

Also if I did think it was necessary, I'm not sure something as divisive as Sorachi Saison is the right one to base a whole style-glass around.
But bro, it's Brooklyn Brewing. 20 some odd years of making **** beer means you have a ton of clout in the beer world.

I'm OK with a little slush as long as the **** doesn't break or leak. We'll see I guess.

I was up visiting my buddy in Canada and left a duffel bag in my car overnight in 0F weather because I didn't feel like dragging it up hill into his condo on the mountain. Forgot that one of the items inside was a duffel bag that contained my shipper of beer, which froze. Brought it inside and let everything warm back up naturally, and opened a BBomb. Tasted perfect and the carb was fine.

Abyss is not a very good beer anymore. I've been hesitant to admit this because Deschutes was the brewery that got me into craft beer and their regular lineup is still something I enjoy, but this beer is almost totally devoid of any barrel character, is a mess of flavors, and is largely coasting on its previous reputation at this point. Zero chance I seek out bottles, or of any vintages after 2011.

100% BA variants coming soon. Bourbon and Cognac I believe. Otherwise I agree with you. The standard version is so ashy.

Yeah I might have to trade for these. I still have a soft spot in my heart for Deschutes for a lot of reasons. I just wish this beer wasn't diving off a cliff.

Yeah I did have a couple freezes during the polar vortex 2 years ago so I'm a little worried, but it won't be insanely cold. It's a waley beer though so I don't want to get burned if I can avoid it. Eh, prolly be OK.

Only stuff I'd be super worried about is a corked beer.
