We have a quince tree, overly abundant with large heavy golden quince. I want to use the recipe I found at http://winemaking.jackkeller.net/reques51.asp .
Question 1) should the quince be peeled
2) would it do any harm to add some strawberries to the brew for the initial 15 minute boil, and perhaps into the primary for the first 48 hours?
I'm more of a mead maker, my first go at wine has been a dandelion wine which is still in the carboy. I'm a bit of a wine noob
Any help is appreciated.
