Hello everybody, quick question about an issue I stupidly did not consider yesterday, until now...
I brewed yesterday and my dry yeast was ready on the vial just before pitching it into my wort and then I saw just a little bit of DME extract lying in one plastic bag, I gathered about a 1oz and I pour it in the yeast vial and stirred.
The yeast water was of course boiled and clean, but I didn't consider to boil the DME to pour it... Am I screwed? It will get infected due the DME? I just completely forgot about the contamination issue
Help me sleep tonight telling me everything will be ok.
