My freezer chest is oddly shaped so it has been taking me a while to build my collar. I am at the point where I am gluing things together and about to drill some holes.

I have Perlick 525SS faucets. I believe I read that I need to drill a 1" hole for the shank to go through. Is that correct?

How far apart do people have their faucets? From the middle of one shank to the middle of the next shank, I was going to make 4.5". I'm having 4 faucets.

Pretty sure the hole is 7/8".

Get a dip tray before drilling all the holes. That is going to determine some things for you.

I used a 1'' drill and it was fine. The exact drill to use is 7/8'', but I do not have one. A little larger is no big deal, as the pieces at both ends of the shank will hide the gap.

I have 4 faucets as well, and I did 3'' apart (center to center), so that I could use the drip tray sold by kegcowboy.
