So I was putting together an order with AHS and I saw "Heading Powder", which is supposed to aid in head retention. So, being very cheap, I ordered a few packets. I received the shipment today. Each packet is an ounce, and it says that it is made up of Corn Sugar and Gum Arabic.

My question is: since there's corn sugar in it, should I go a little light on the corn sugar/DME that I use at bottling time, in order to avoid overcarbo? The website and packaging aren't very liberal in doling out details and directions.

I would do the first batch and prime as you normally do. If it's too much adjust next time. I find it easier to live with overcarbed beer than undercarbed. Plus the chances of an ounce of sugar doing damage is slim.
