When I first started Breweing I was told to only use stainless steel kettles. It has been four years scince I was forced to take a break, I talked with a few and they use aliminum pots. I there a big diffrence should I stick with buying a stainless steel or is Alluminum ok?

Aluminum is fine if you oxidize it first. (boil water in it or stick it in your over at high temp) All myths about Aluminum in brewing have been debunked. There are pros and cons to both.

Do a search on this site and you will find 100's of the same questions in threads as well as in a few articles.
