Hey guys,

I am currently working on a batch of raspberry cider. The recipe I am going off of said to rack to tertiary for 3 or 4 days to get the cider off the raspberry sludge for a bit before bottling.

Unfortunately, I have been pretty busy as of late and it's been sitting in tertiary for longer than expected and I am not really sure when I'll be able to get to it (crossing my fingers for tonight). Do you think there will be any harm in leaving the cider in there for an extended period of time?

Thanks in advance as this is only my second batch of cider and the first the time I've ever used a tertiary fermenter.

As long as there was some fermentation, the CO2 will prevent oxidation, and a little extra time won't hurt anything.

I personally would leave it about a week, but I think you are fine regardless.
