I purchased a kit today and noticed that it had three 1oz. bags of centennial hops all labeled the exact same. The brewing procedures call for flavoring, aromatic, and dry hops for dry hopping. Which bag is for flavoring, which bag is for aromatic, which bag is for dry hopping, or are they all the same? I attached photos if I have confused anyone.

They are all the same. Whether hops are bittering, flavouring, aromatic or dry hopping hops just depends on when they are added to the boil (or the fermentor).

yup, those three bags are identical - they all contain the exact same thing. the difference between bittering, flavor, aroma and dry-hop is when the hops are added to the brew. you can use the same type of hops (as you recipe does), or you can use different types of hops.

Middle bag is aromatic. Top bag is flavoring. Bottom bag is dry hopping.

Just kidding...

They're all the same. :D

Have a ball and enjoy your brewing!
