I do 3 gallon BIAB batches and get right at 70% efficiency up to 1.065 OG. After that it falls off pretty fast. I want to do a imperial porter for the winter and my plan is basically to use my porter recipe and add 2#s of light DME with about 15 minutes left in the boil. My question is do I need to adjust the specialty grains at all or since it's still a 3 gallon batch will the normal amount be fine even though they are a lower percentage?
