So, the instructions say to use 1 tbsp per 5 gallons of final brew water. So If I'm doing a 5 gallon batch, do I add the entire tbsp into the mash? Will this continue to hold the PH at 5.2 during the sparge, or do I need to add more?

I crush my grains the night before a brew day. I add it to the grist when I am finished preparing it.

I store my jar of 5.2 in my Barley Crushers grain bin. Then, I simply add the 5.2 to the top of my grain bill ready to pour into the mash tun the next day.

the instructions are to add enough to cover the amount your going to put into the fermenter. ie, if you've got 5.5g batch then you need to add enough to cover that.

personally i use it in both mash and sparge.
