ALL SOLD:

I have 5 CO2 tanks. All are 20 lbs and in great condition. Current hydro dates with years left on them. A few have VERY recent dates of 10/2010. All are well within the 5 year limit to exchange/fill.

Full - $90

Empty - $70

FYI they must be empty to ship.

Buyer pays actual shipping or free local pickup in SE Aurora or the Denver Tech Center.

Please DON'T PM, respond to this thread first come first served! :mug:

I will take two or three.

Interested in either shipping cost to Ft Collins (buddies house) or Albuquerque (87110 - my house.) I'm also pinging him to see if he can collect in person. Would prefer them empty.

Thank you.

505 Brewer you got first dibs. Let me know if your friend wants to meet in Denver. I live 30 minutes outside of Denver but would be willing to meet him depending on date/time.

If he is meeting me, would you want them full or either way you want empties?

Interested in one shipped to 22151 depending on shipping cost. Empty obviously.

Cheers!

I will get a shipping quote for 3 tanks tomorrow. Any ideas who ships heavy and large items the cheapest? Unfortunately UPS charges weight by volume for this size and they are ridiculously expensive without a commercial account.

If you have a commercial address to ship to it will also be much cheaper. Or if you know someone who has a business account they have DEEP discounts. I'd be up for giving you weight/dimensions and letting you email me a label if you know anyone with a UPS account.

Long story short, I will find the cheapest option I know of tomorrow and get back to you.

I can have it shipped to work (22209), which should be cheaper than home. Will need to ask around for a UPS account. My wife's work has a FedEx account (22079 zip code). Would you need the account number? If you can provide the ship from Zip and dimensions/weight, I can also see what quotes would be? Feel free to e-mail if you want: [email protected].

I know people have also used Greyhound where you drop the box off at your closest Greyhound and I pick it up from my closest (Springfield, VA), but I imagine from CO to VA...it would be quite a bit still.

Thanks,
Aaron

Dallasdb, aren't you the one who posted to my thread saying $65 was too much to charge for a empty CO2 tank? Then you ask $5 more than what I had mine posted for... just seems wierd.

For clarification, I said if the tank's hydro is out of date the price is too high IMO. I wasn't looking to buy your tanks I was just trying to help you sell them. I even showed you a photo on how to check the hydro date. Sorry for being a nice guy and butting in! (joking)

Heck your sale is local pickup in Missouri and I'm in Denver!

The hydro date is stamped around the "neck" of the tank. The date is only good for 5 yrs. If it is out of date your asking price is way too high fyi.

I've attached a photo of what a hydro stamp looks like. You could have multiple stamps the most recent date will be what is valid.

I absolutely took it as you trying to help when you posted but then when you posted 5 of your own for a little more it just seemed a bit odd. Looks like you are having a lot better luck than me selling your stash.

ditto
still interested and i believe i was tank #4 or 5 depending on buyer #1
thanks

I PM'ed Olive drab and ATJSPARTY with updates.

At this time, all tanks have pending sales so I'm gonna close out this thread. If something falls through I will PM the next in line after Olive drab.

Thanks so much for everyone's interest!
