Qingxi River Water AKA Schwill

Going on now. Hope it works out
The word Qingxi in Chinese means clear water stream. Only problem is since I moved here I’ve only seen dark brown water so I’m brewing up a black ale in honor of this little town named Qingxi in Dongguan China.
2.5 gallon batch.
Yeah, it’s 150 grams of the chocolate malt.

If so, why is your water dark brown?
