Last week I transferred 10 gal. Of pumpkin ale to two corny kegs. One I have in my kegerator and one sitting in basement till I need it. I've tasted it and realize it has no spice flavor. Is it possible to open up the corny in the basement, add spices and close it up again without ruining it?

Make a tincture. For mine I used a half tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice and 100ml vodka. Mix them in a jar and let sit for a few days. Use a plastic syringe (I had a few from baby Tylenol) to suck up some vodka. Pour a glass of beer and slowly add drops to the glass till the flavor is right, noting the amounts carefully. Once you find the right mix, scale it up and shoot the syringe into your keg.

So once I find an mixture amount that I like I can just open up the keg and shoot it in and repurge the keg?

I had this same problem the other day except I don't use kegs I bottle. I simply boiled the spices with the bottling primer and filtered it out before adding to the carboy. I know this probably doesn't help TC at all, but maybe someone else. :mug:
