I am looking for a pump and not sure which is better. I see The steel head pump, March pump and chugger pump. What pumps do you recommend? Price is not of concern. I just want to make sure I get a pump that will last.

I like the center inlet chuggers. Primes easily, pumps quickly. I'm not sure how long it will last, probably a long time if I take care of it. I think any of those pumps will die on you if you abuse them.

I have these March pumps. Honestly I expected them to be a little less fussy than they are for $400 each. I'd save a few hundred and try the Steelhead from Chugger.

They also have 3/4" inlets which I haven't found a use for yet, but did have to buy some SS couplers to down size them....maybe that's my problem now that I think about it.

I have a stainless steel head Chugger pump. They are extremely well built. I honestly feel it will outlast me!
